ICAN Tour
Welcome and thank you for visiting the ICAN site. This
section overviews the basic function of the website. If you have questions,
comments, or suggestions, please contact the
webmaster.
The ICAN site consists of five major components. You can
jump to these whenever you want by clicking on the top navigation bar.
Site Components
1. Home

2. About ICAN

3. Tour
This is where you are right now: It provides an overview of the
ICAN site.
4. Modules
Online instructional topics have been grouped into the following modules:
Characteristics, Assessment, Academic, Behavioral, Communication, Environmental,
Sensory, and Social Interventions. You can jump to a different category
at any time you wish by clicking on the module bar located at the top
of the page.

Each topic consists of the following components:
 |
- Introduction
- Overview
- Lecture
- Quiz
- FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
- References
- Forum
|
You can jump back and forth among these sections by clicking
on the navigation pad shown above.
First, you will be able to picture the content of the
modules by reading the Introduction. If you think a given lesson
is what you are interested in, proceed to the lecture sections. If not,
choose from the left-hand column for other topics in the same module.
For topics in other categories, click on the category names above. The
Lecture contains reader-friendly explanations about the topics,
as well as examples, and materials you can download.
Once you have gone through the lecture part, you might
want to take an on-line Quiz or proceed to FAQs, a list
of questions and answers that summarize the contents of the lessons.
The References include all sources cited in the modules as well
as additional articles, books, and web resources. Finally, Forum
is where you can exchange opinions with other ICAN users around the
world.
5. Search

inquiries.
6. Glossary
