Sample Plan
Here’s a sample plan for designing a JAR, adapted
from the work of McLean- Snyder (1984).

Data Collection
Once the JAR is trained, data must be collected on target
language skills. Data may include the accuracy of language responses
compared to the target model, and frequency of spontaneous target language
behaviors per opportunity. When other skills (cognitive, motor, etc.)
are targeted, data must also be collected on accuracy of responses.
Before implementing a routine, it is helpful to complete
a plan similar to this one. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran,
it is critical to plan out all the details of a routine. Here is an
example of a completed plan.
