As many parents and educators know, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have much to offer to their peers, but they often have great difficulty with social skills and interactions.

What comes naturally to their typically developing classmates, such as turn-taking, sharing, conversing, understanding social subtleties, knowing what is appropriate or cool, must often be directly taught to students with ASD.
